All the ships entering
Hualien
Port must be examined by
Quarantine Inspection Office. See below for details:
1.
Quarantine
test: Required for ships with special reasons, damaged ships for instance.
2.
Sanitation
Test: Holders of sanitation certificates can opt for off-board sanitation
testing.
3.
Radio:
Information as well as document checking can be executed via radio.
4.
Holding
Area: Having passed checks for quarantined items, ships are then allowed to
enter the port.
5.
Second Port:
Ships transferred from other ports in Taiwan can opt for off-board
testing.
6.
Around
Island: Having applied for the process in the sanitation office, boats
working in the Taiwan
area can opt for off-board testing.
